This is a picture of the side of a bridge. I took while on a field trip at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. I created contrast at the top if the pillars to create more interest. 

This picture looked so different than I expected. I thought it wouldn't work or look interesting at all. I really like that you can see every detail of the pillars. I chose this picture because it has very good composition and i think it was one of my best pictures I took while at the IMA. 

In this picture, the compositional elements used are repetition and leading line. It shows repetition by the pillars on the side of the bridge. It shows Leading lines because the bridge leads you off the picture.

This is my friend, Savannah. This demonstrates backligting because the light is coming directly behind her. The "halo effect" around her hair also helps to back it up.

In this picture, there is a very pretty sunflower. I found it in my friend's backyard. You can even see her house in the background. Th light is coming from directly behind it, and it really lights up the flower petals. 

I chose this picture because it was a very good representation of back lighting. When  I was taking this picture, I was thinking about different angles I could take this picture. The way the sun hit the petals really caught my eye when I took this. 

In this picture, of course, there is back lighting. There is also rule of thirds and repetition. It is rule of thirds because if you divide the picture into thirds, the middle of the flower would be in the third. It is repetition because the petals repeat.

This picture was my other action photo. It is Corinne jumping over Ari. I thought it was very interesting and different. It shows worm's eye view and rule of thirds.

This is my action picture of Tanner throwing a frisbee. It was a really interesting picture because it was taken from below and the frisbee is really bright. It was mid-afternoon and I told Tanner to throw the frisbee at me.

I chose this picture for my action picture because the action was clear and reallly interesting.The colors really pop and draws attention.A lot of people were taking pictures of Tanner throwing a picture, but it really caught my eye when I was looking back through the ones I took. 

I used 2 compositional elements in this picture: rule of thirds and worm's eye veiw. I used rule of third because if you divided the picture into thirds twice, Tanner would be in the third. Its worm's view because it was taken from below the action.
