Repetition.

When the caution tape caught my eye, the blazing yellow almost flashed. This pictures was taken at south campus, wrapped around two cords. The bright yellow and the dark letters really contrast eachother and the glare gives it a sense of reality.

I used this picture because it really catches your eye. The brilliance of the picture is really astounding and it would stand out in a crowd of pictures. It really makes a statement. The idea I was trying to get across was caution: don't fit in; stand out. I feel like I really got that across.

In this picture, I used two compositional elements. I used repetition and bird's eye view. Repetition is the most evident element. It contributes to the idea I was trying to get across by the angle it was taken from. It makes it more interesting and different.
